This show is intended for the SOUND horse
Show
restricted to horses shod with factory keg shoes or barefoot
No plastic wraps, hoof bands, action devices,
chains or training devices will be allowed on the show grounds!
All classes are restricted to horses 3 years
old and older.
Open Gaited Breed classes:
Country
Pleasure – two gaits only – walk and intermediate gait. Enter ring at walk. Casual attire. English or Western but tack and attire must
match. Ring protocol is English.
Trail
Pleasure – show walk or working walk (slow gait), pleasure gait or intermediate
gait (faster gait), walk. Enter ring at
show walk or working walk (slow gait). Casual attire.
English or Western but tack and attire must match. Ring protocol is English.
Please
note that casual attire is defined for this show as: Dark slacks or black jeans, long sleeved
shirt (Western style if using Western tack). No polo or t-shirts. Riding boots
(cowboy boot if using Western tack.), English or Western style hats or
protective AST approved/SEI certified headgear. (mandatory
for youth 17 or under, optional for adult classes), vests, gloves and spurs are
optional.
Show

English show attire and tack.
Equitheater - EquiTheater
is where each exhibitor creates and presents with their horse, an entertaining
routine to the audience using: costumes, choreography, music, props,
storytelling and acting. Routines may be
serious, dramatic, elegant or funny. For
full rules please consult IJA rule book.
This show is sanctioned with Friends of Sound
Horses (FOSH) as an A rated show.
